Nothing you haven't heard already

You definitely should have finished it, but that you knew. Anyway, I wonder if I could ask... what WOULD have happened if you had gone all out and finished it the way you had wanted/intended?

It is a shame that it ended like this since you'd put so much effort in the previous episodes, but I guess sometimes you just have to finish what you started even if it means cutting corners.

In terms of visuals, the animation was brilliant as usual. (Though there was one error I saw... when the nukes were about to hit, the truck the characters were escaping in appeared to be driving backwards. XD)

The audio was fine too, but I guess one of the unfinished parts was the voicing for some of the characters?

Plot--- Yes it wasn't finished, but the story doesn't necessarily end with the nuking of the city since in the previous episode, wasn't the girl bitten? So there is room for continuing if you ever chose to pick it up again.

Still, who knows maybe someday it could be finished, if not... that doesn't matter, just as long as you keep making cool animations like this series. You've got some serious talent!

Dusty-Gorilla responds:

They eventually would go to Umbrella Labs and get killed :/

Potential is obvious... but be careful

I see some fine potential with this to be a good series, but I still think there are a few things that need to be checked....
1- Credits- I get that crediting where you get sprites from and who is voicing who is important, BUT do you do not need to include it twice!
2- Storyline and plot- The plot is fine (zombies rise up and start killing everyone but a few survivors set off on a suicidal mission and some die on the way to find the solution to the problem and so on...) BUT you moved too fast (literally I thought it was lag at first but you just jump from shot to shot too much) I couldn't even see what happened to toadette and Petey other than he suddenly lies flat on the ground and she jumps on the plane window as a zombie.
3- Animation- The animation of the dialogue is fine and so is the sprite movement, but that being said... just seeing all the characters walking and shooting off screen zombies that are then laid on their path as they walk by is not very good for anything
4- Cast of characters- Mario game characters, what more is there to say other than that.... ohh and Why Ludwig? seriously why did you pick Ludwig as the only surviving Koopaling?
5-Voice Acting- The voice actors did a great job themselves, but you may want to include subtitles, because some things are a tad unclear at first.

That's all for now, but if you fix those few things you have a potentially great series going.

MurderMysteryMan responds:

1-It was the movie's opening, with drama and the such, you don't have to actually watch the credits, it is optional.
2-No, it was lag.....Toadette was squashed....
3-true for some, false for others
4-If it were real, you wouldn't get to choose who survives and who doesn't.
5-Thank you for being positive with the voice actors.

Thank you :)

A good cross of series

The Metal Slug sprites are well fit to take on a Zombie style movie, and this is probably the best series of it. The Sprites themselves are very clear and precise even when you zoomed in to them. My only complaint is the music. The heavy metal gets distracting/annoying pretty fast, especially when you are watching a bunch of zombies slunking around the screen to try to reach the soldiers. I also wish the regular soldiers could play a somewhat better role than just appearing to die to zombies or even the heroes. I can't wait to see the next installment, but i see it has been nearly 4 years since your last release so... this may be a while. All in all it was a good movie, but one last thing. At the end, the 3 were trying to get in the sewer when suddenly there was an explosion right, how did Daniel the guy in front and closest to the sewer not make it, but the two behind him fall into the sewer?

Dusty-Gorilla responds:

Well like you said, it's been nearly 4 years. I animated this when I was 15 years old. It was very much style over substance. The finale which I've been trying to finish is much more substance over style. So the music and the explosions were just a part of that style. These kind of reviews really inspire me to finish the finale. Thanks man!

Great job, but tell me...

What was the frame rate you used and how many drawings per sec did u use on average, one per frame or one every other?

Timsplosion responds:

Uh, well the majority of people used the full 24 frames per second. One or two people used every other frame, but that wasn't a common thing.

PATHETIC

You stole this idea off of Bowser's Kingdom Episode 666. The poison mushroom to create zombies was all Araskin500 & Pthouse's idea. That was low. Theirs was WAY better, I mean you DID have a joke that they didn't have with the Thriller thing, but you did not use it to its full potential, for example: I might have been fine if right when the crowds of zombies are about to get to Peach and Mario, you'd have THEN had all the zombies dance. THAT would have been funny.

Spikeabike responds:

Oh shit did i I dnd't know about that...

This Review is gonna be too short.....

seriously I have more to say about this one, but for now all I want to say is that the series is AWESOME, and the jokes about the old school show are hilarious, but the only thing I wanted to say this series needed was either a scene select option or a fast forward button cuz it's hard to show other people the funny parts if I have to make them watch the whole thing and then they leave before the good part comes up. ..................... See told you it was short, I think I'll say anything else about it on part 2.

Battosai810 responds:

Well, glad you liked it. The thing is, fast forward buttons and such are unbelievably hard to make for someone not into scripting like me. Try watching them on my Youtube channel! I'm battosai810 on there too :)

The best Star Fox 64 vid I've ever seen

This brings back memories of Star Fox 64 for the N64. It was my 2nd game I ever got for it, and was definitely Star Fox's best work. I hope you plan on doing another one like this, and if so, PLZ tell me, I'd like to help you to do that, b/c there aren't very many Star Fox parodies, and even LESS good ones like this. The funniest part was the part with Andrew saying "Uncle Andross", and when Peppy was being attacked by pasta. The use of the quotes was very clever and perfectly fitting. I was only disappointed when I noticed that you'd excluded any quotes from Kaimon (the guy in the Venom defense zone) and the commander too, the secret weapon of sector X, the other boss from Corneria and Andross himself (which now that I think about it is justified to not be there, but still expected), and Fox's father James. I hope you'll make another one with Star Fox and his gang going to other places and causing hilarious chaos XD XD XD LOL XD!

PuffballsUnited responds:

I don't think I am going to make another one, but I'll be making other things! :D As for all the quotes that weren't included, I tried to include as many as I could, but there had to be a limit.

Great job

I think it might have been my computer, but it is uncertain, but the only thing that i found lacking was the smoothness of the animation. Your special effects are incredible (PLZ send me a message to tell me where u get em) and your sound FX are perfectly synced (where did you get your sound fx too not the song the hits and DBZ stuff i cant find it anywhere). You also put a lot of effort into making some cool custom poses, my favorite was when mecha sonic was using the dual guns at the bomb from behind.

Stiff69 responds:

jajaj thanks for your comment friend if I upload it cost a lot of work because my computer died: (thanks for your nice comments are appreciated

GREAT JOB ON THIS COOL MOVIE!!!

Ok i was wondering WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET THE SPRITES AND STUFF U USED FOR THIS MOVIE (a site would be nice)! Anyways MAKE ANOTHER 1 SOON!!

Killerratte responds:

Self-ripped with Olaf van der Speks XCC Mix Editor, kthxbye.

HOLY CRAP THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!

I am still laughing LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!
By the way were you actually serious when you said you might use the "Ash vs Anyone"!?!?1? If you ARE let me KNOW I am willing to help in any way: sound, story, opponents, ETC. By the way what would happen if Ash would meet Brigette and Brian the bank bandits... THAT WOULD BE HILARIOUS!! SO in Conclusion make more ASH vs movies!!!!

TX2 responds:

Ash and Bridgette are both mostly reactionaries. So they'd probably ignore each other unless there was some outside influence.
The next ash Versus movies is already planned and won't be around for a while, so Ash Versus Anyone will, if anything, just be a really quick side joke. Sorry.
